Asian-Style Barbecue-Glazed Chicken with Cheesy Shells

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • ¼ cup Asian-style barbecue sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 lb frozen popcorn chicken
  • 1 (12 oz) box cheesy deluxe pasta dinner
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter, divided
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • ¼ cup sliced fresh green onions
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Steps

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook bacon following package instructions. Place barbecue sauce, ketchup, and honey in small bowl; whisk to combine, then set aside.
    2. Bake chicken following package instructions.
    3. Meanwhile, cook pasta dinner following package instructions. Stir in cheese, pepper, and 2 tablespoons butter. Chop bacon coarsely.
    4. Cook corn following package instructions, then drain. Place corn in large bowl, then stir in bacon, green onions, salt, and remaining 2 tablespoons butter.
    5. Cut chicken into bite-size pieces if needed; toss with barbecue sauce mixture. Divide pasta among serving bowls; top with corn and chicken. Serve.
