Ingredients

  • 4 hamburger patties (about 1 lb total)
  • ½ teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 4 teaspoons ketchup
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • ¼ cup cooked bacon pieces
  • 4 teaspoons mustard
  • 4 slices American (or cheddar) cheese
  • 8 pickle chips

Steps

    1. Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Season burgers with steak seasoning (wash hands). Place burgers on grill; cook 3–4 minutes on each side until 160°F.
    2. Meanwhile, slice onion and tomato thinly. Spread ketchup inside bottom halves of buns, then sprinkle with bacon pieces; spread mustard inside top halves of buns.
    3. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top with cheese, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and top halves of buns. Serve.
