Ingredients
- 4 hamburger patties (about 1 lb)
- ½ teaspoon steak seasoning
- 1 medium onion
- 1 medium tomato
- 4 teaspoons ketchup
- 4 hamburger buns
- ¼ cup cooked bacon bits, divided
- 4 teaspoons mustard
- 4 slices American (or cheddar) cheese
- 8 pickle chips
Steps
- Preheat grill (or grill pan) on medium-high. Season burgers with steak seasoning (wash hands). Place burgers on grill; cook 3–4 minutes on each side until 160°F.
- Slice onion and tomato thinly. Spread ketchup on bottom halves of buns, then sprinkle with bacon bits; spread mustard on top halves of buns.
- Place burgers on bottom halves of buns; top with cheese, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and top halves of buns. Serve.
