When to Enjoy
Grab plums at their peak in late August.
- If you want to eat your plum or plumcot today, choose one that yields to gentle pressure.
- A slightly firmer fruit will ripen nicely at room temperature. Once it is soft and sweet, you can refrigerate it for two to three days.
- To freeze plums and plumcots, pit them first.
