Product details A cooler-than-normal January in the Columbia Valley led growers to adjust their pruning decisions, leaving more buds per spur. This helped combat reduced yields caused by winter freezes. Bud break in the spring surprised growers with a healthy number of surviving buds, despite cooler temperatures. A hot July made up for a slow start to the growing season, resulting in beautifully developed fruit by harvest in late August and early September. A bouquet of grass, lemon and lime on the nose introduces a palate of grapefruit and melon, leading to a refreshing acidity and a long finish.
