Shake sauce well before use. To Make 6 Servings You Will Need: 3/4 cup of Tapatio Tinga De Pollo Cooking Sauce (1/2 bottle); 4 cups cooked shredded chicken or 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. raw chicken. Skillet Method: When using cooked shredded chicken, combine sauce with chicken and mix thoroughly. Simmer on medium/low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. It's ready to serve when heated through. When using raw chicken, pre-cook raw chicken in a pot covering with 1 inch of water and no seasoning. When chicken is fully cooked 8-16 minutes and reaches 165 degrees F, shred and proceed with skillet method. You can also use the slow cooker method, (shown below), when using raw chicken. Slow Cooker Method: Place raw chicken pieces in slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Cook on low for 6 hours. When done, shred and enjoy on tacos, burritos or just by itself. Note: If you do not have a slow-cooker, you can slow cook in an oven on 210 degrees F for 8 hours in a covered oven-safe pot or 4-6 hours at 250 degrees F. Follow safe handling practices and cook meat thoroughly. Refrigerate after opening.
