Instructions as Easy as Pie: What You Need: 1 deep dish pie shell crust (even Nana didn't make those from scratch!); 4 eggs, room temperature. Instructions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Remove lid and microwave jar for 1 minute. In a mixing bowl beat 4 eggs until well mixed. Add warmed jar to egg mixture, mix vigorously. Pour combined mixture into deep dish pie shell. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Our Nana's Secret Tips: Give pie a gentle jiggle after 60 minutes in oven. It's ready when the center shakes like gelatin. Never worry, if it "falls" when removed, you've done it right! Most classic pecan pies do. Cool to set for 4 hours minimum, best overnight. Serve warm (-10 seconds in microwave will do it!) with vanilla ice cream! Refrigerate after opening.
