Product details Light & Dark Blend: nutty notes of cocoa & walnuts, smooth finish. 100% arabica. Low-Acidity: Our beans are slow roasted to produce a rich, well-balanced flavor featuring a favorably low-acidic, smooth taste. Family Owned: The Lipsi family traversed the oceans from Italy to the coffee plantations of Brazil to the eastern United States. Due to our love of the mountains, we have permanently moved to the southeast and focus on bringing a taste of our old home to the new. Ethically Traded: In many instances, we are able to trade directly with farmers who produce our beans, cutting our the middle man and allowing the farmer to profit from their product. The Pisgah Difference: Because sustainability and traceability are a top priority, we source high-quality, low-acidic beans first hand. Our beans are slow roasted in an artisan roaster to produce a clean and uniform flavor profile. Along with quality taste, providing fair wages to farmers, supporting local non-profits and growing with our community is what the Pisgah difference is all about. 1: An average of how many trees it takes to make 1 lb of roasted coffee! 5: Generations of perfecting the art of coffee, combining that passion with love for community and sustainable trade. 2010: The year our company started roasting as a way to connect locally to the mountains of western North Carolina. 3,300: We proudly source our coffee from regions with altitudes averaging 3,300 feet above sea level. Beans grown at this altitude allows for slower growth that highly affects the coffee's quality and taste. pisgahraosters.com. Muddy Sneakers the joy of learning outisde.
