These eminent sites produce a terroir driven Pinot Noir that showcases unique textures and flavor profiles characteristics. This red wine has notes of roasted plum mixed with cocoa, tobacco, and sweet cherry. The palate leaves you with hints of fresh spring earth and fig making this wine balanced and approachable. Pair with mushroom Risotto, salmon, and pork loin. This bottled Oregon pinot noir is 14.1% alcohol by volume. Penner-Ash Wine Cellar's Willamette Valley Pinot Noir showcases the distinguishing textures, flavor profiles and terroir of the region, with beautiful elegance and balance. Since its inaugural vintage in 1998, founding winemaker Lynn Penner-Ash has drawn upon longstanding relationships with grower neighbors and friends, to source fruit from the Willamette Valley's most distinguished vineyards. Today, alongside head winemaker Kate Ayres, this wine uniquely explores six sub-AVAs, culminating in a Pinot Noir emblematic of the Valley, and of the Penner-Ash winemaking style – a textural experience from start to finish. This Pinot Noir ages for 10 months in 23% new French oak.
