The 2023 Nickel & Nickel C.C. Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon is a luxury, single-vineyard red wine from Rutherford, one of Napa Valley's most storied Cabernet districts. Sourced from 15 select acres of the C.C. Ranch vineyard on a knoll west of the Silverado Trail, it radiates classic Rutherford character, with ripe blackcurrant and plum layered with dried herbs, violets and cocoa. Broad and expressive on the palate, it balances dark chocolate, graphite and sweet tobacco with finely grained, dusty tannins, lingering powerful yet graceful through a long, savory finish. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with an average of 18 days on skins and aged 17 months in French oak barrels, 55% new and 45% once-used, the wine is concentrated, refined and age-worthy. Pair this Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon with grilled ribeye, filet mignon, rack of lamb or aged cheeses.
