Product details Conn Creek winds through our ranch in Napa Valley while flowing southwest, on its way to the Napa River. Over the centuries, volcanic activity on the north end of the property has forced the creek further to the south, and with each relocation, a new bed of gravel has been deposited on the clay-loam soil on the creek's left bank. This gravel-clay mix results in a soil type especially well suited to traditional Bordeaux-style grape varieties. Our 15-acre vineyard on this left bank of Conn Creek has been planted to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and together they make a blend that is lush, complex and enjoyable when young. www.neyersvineyards.com.
