Use by date on can end. Directions for Preparation & Use: Use as directed by a doctor. Your baby's health depends on carefully following these preparation, use & storage instructions. Failure to do so could result in severe harm. Ask the baby's doctor about using infant formula and the need for boiling water or sterilizing bottles and utensils. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor. 1. Wash hands & clean all utensils and surfaces. If boiling water for formula, bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute and let cool to room temperature. 2. Referring to the Mixing Guide, measure & pour water into a clean bottle, then use the enclosed scoop to add powder. Tightly cover the can. 3. Mix until powder is completely dissolved. Feed immediately; discard any formula left after 1 hour. Mixing Guide: To Make Approx: 2 fl oz bottle; 2 fl oz water; Add Powder: 1 unpacked level scoop (8.7 g). To Make Approx: 4 fl oz bottle; 4 fl oz water; Add Powder: 2 unpacked level scoops. To Make Approx: 6 fl oz bottle; 6 fl oz water; Add Powder: 3 unpacked level scoops. To Make Approx: 8 fl oz bottle; 8 fl oz water; Add Powder: 4 unpacked level scoops.
