They’re easy to prepare and can be ready to eat in as little as 20 minutes.

What is sous vide?
Sous vide is a method of cooking meat by vacuum-sealing it in a plastic bag and immersing it in a temperature-controlled water bath for several hours. The result? Moist, flavorful lamb shanks that will be the hit of your holiday dinner.

Heating Instructions

In a conventional oven:
1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
2. Remove lamb shanks and sauce from pouches.
3. Place in an oven safe dish.
4. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
5. Heat in oven for 20-30 minutes or until temperature is 195°F as measured by a food thermometer.
6. Remove foil and continue heating for an additional 10 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving.

Stove Top (simmering water):
1. Fill a large pot with water and bring to a low simmer.
2. Place unopened pouches of lamb shanks in the water and heat for 15-20 minutes or until 195°F as measured by a food thermometer.
3. Remove pouches from water and allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving.
