May be irritating to nose and throat. Avoid breathing dust. Do not ingest. Do not mix with other chemicals. First Aid: If In Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Then get immediate medical attention. If On Skin: Rinse off excess chemical and flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. If Inhaled: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, have a trained person administer oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Call a physician immediately. If Swallowed: Drink large amounts of water. Do not induce vomiting. Avoid alcohol. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. In case of medical emergency, call 1-877-800-5553. Read entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions. Use: Reduces pH to protect equipment and surface for optimal chlorine effectiveness and improve swimmer comfort by reducing skin irritation. Test and Balance: Test pH weekly and maintain pH between 7.2-7.6 test total alkalinity before using this product. Test water before using this product. While walking around edge of pool, broadcast product evenly across the deepest area while pool is not in use and pump is running. pH Down Dosages: pH Level: pH 7.2-7.6; ideal; pH 7.7-7.8; add 6 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH 7.9-8.0; add 12 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH 8.1-8.4; add 20 oz per 10,000 gallons; pH above 8.4; add 24 oz per 10,000 gallons. Dosage: Never add more than 2.5 lb of this product per 10,000 gallons at one time. Pre-dissolving may be required to avoid pool surface discoloration. If the pH is above 7.6 then add this product to bring down th pH to an acceptable range using the dosage chart above. For Best Results: Allow the pool to circulate for two hours then retest pH. Add more product if needed. Brush any undissolved clumps off surface of pool to avoid surface damage. Re-entry: Test water and enter when the pH reaches ideal 7.2-7.6 range. Storage and Disposal: Keep this product dry in original tightly sealed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not reuse container. Rinse empty container thoroughly before discarding in trash or recycling.
