Product details Our 2019 Sonoma Coast Red Wine is inky dark purple in color and opens with enticing aromas of dark fruit, leather, spice and toasty oak. With layered flavors of plum, cherry and vanilla, this wine has wonderful depth and concentration. It finishes with soft tannins and lingering notes of sweet vanilla oak. Full, fruit-forward and elegant, this wine is a worthy match for any red meat dish, like steak-frites. Our story started in 1972 with a vision to plant grapes along the diverse terrain of Sonoma County's rolling hills. Chalk Hill Winery lies within a small AVA which bears the same name and has been producing highly acclaimed wines led by its flagship Estate Chardonnay. Meticulous attention to detail, decades of clonal research, sustainable viticulture practices and a minimalist approach to winemaking all combine to produce wines of character, richness and elegance.
