Product details The Bootleg Red Blend is a beautiful garnet red color with rich, luscious fruit flavors and spicy earth aromas. The blend of 37% Merlot, 33% Petit Sirah, and 30% Syrah creates a red wine that is full and inviting enough to enjoy on its own, yet structured enough to stand up to big, bold foods. This rich, purple-hued red wine is rich with aromas of dark berries, baking spices and espresso. On the palate, flavors of plums, blueberries, vanilla and allspice, with hints of cigar box and black tea. Pair with pizza, BBQ ribs, wings and sausages. This bottled California red blend is 15.3% alcohol by volume. Conceived in a Rutherford cellar, Bootleg Red Wine was blended to best express its vintage in the Napa Valley outside the bounds of a given winemaking tradition–one year it might feature Merlot from Stagecoach Vineyard; the next, Cabernet from Atlas Peak. Opulent yet refined, Bootleg deftly balances hedonistic pleasure with structure, nuance, and finesse.
