Product details Prized for its bright acidity and characteristic hints of coastal brine, Albariño is a less well-known white varietal originating on the Iberian Peninsula of northwestern Spain. We selected grapes from California partners for this off-dry, bright straw-colored wine featuring fresh aromas of spice and tropical fruit. In addition to notes of ruby red grapefruit and pepper, this crisp and refreshing light to medium-bodied wine offers a round creaminess with a good mouthfeel. Savor it with seafood dishes such as bacon-wrapped scallops, fried grouper, and classic paella, or more unusual options including baked butternut squash and pesto pasta. Our easy-drinking Albariño is perfect for sipping at brunch, on picnics, and around the fire pit on cool fall evenings.
