How to use Affresh Washing Machine Cleaner. 1. Remove clothing or other items from washer. 2. Place one tablet into the washer tub. Do not place in the dispenser. 3. For washers with a clean washer cycle, select and run the clean washer cycle. For washers without a clean washer cycle: Non-HE Washers: Select and run a normal or heavy (where applicable) cycle with the hot water setting. HE Washers: Select and run the largest load and longest cycle with the hot water setting. If necessary, refer to your model’s Use and Care Guide for the necessary cycle selection. 4. Remove any residue which may be left behind. For washers that have excessive residue buildup, where odor is present, run at least three consecutive cleaning cycles following the previously mentioned steps. Use once a month or every 30 cycles to maintain a consistently clean machine.
