At Publix, our goal is to provide you up-to-date information on how to get your vaccine at select Publix pharmacies if you are eligible, while supplies last. Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy.

Before booking an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine, it’s important to know current health and safety recommendations from the CDC.

If you've... Then the CDC recommends to defer vaccination...
received passive antibody therapy treatment for COVID-19 for 90 days after treatment.
received another vaccine in the last 14 days for 14 days after receipt of the vaccine.
had a positive test for COVID-19, or your doctor told you that you had COVID-19  until recovery, and until criteria have been met to discontinue isolation. Note, the CDC also states it is okay for an infected person to defer vaccine for 90 days after symptoms have resolved based on low risk of reinfection during that period.
been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 until after your quarantine period ends.
