Ingredients

2 oz dark rum
1/2 oz orange liqueur
1/2 oz ruby port (or red wine)
Sprinkle of nutmeg, for garnish

Steps

  1. Fill cocktail shaker halfway with ice; add all ingredients (except nutmeg).
  2. Shake well; strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Make it for a crowd.
Make 6 servings by placing in a pitcher: 12 oz dark rum, 3 oz Cointreau, 3 oz ruby port (or red wine); stir well.

Make it dark and stormy.
