Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade

Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade
Total Time:
10 minutes


1/4 cup blackberries (plus more for garnish)
1 1/2 oz simple syrup
1 oz lemon juice
2 oz bourbon
Splash of lemon-lime soda
Lemon wedge, for garnish


  1. Muddle blackberries, lemon juice, and simple syrup in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add bourbon and ice; shake well and strain into an ice-filled highball glass.
  3. Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Garnish with blackberries and a lemon wedge.

Other Preparation Methods

Make it a little fruitier.
Add another fruit to the mix, or substitute your favorite fruit for the blackberries.

Make it an herbaceous lemonade.
Add mint or basil when muddling to give this drink a more distinct herb flavor.
