Class Description

Mise en place is a French culinary phrase which means "everything in its place." It refers to the organization required before and during the cooking process in professional kitchens and arranging of ingredients for the evening’s menu. The practice can also apply to the home kitchen. This class will focus on preparation, organization and timing cues that will help make cooking and entertaining at home a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Lobster Bisque with Whipped Sherry Cream; Baby Arugula Salad with Portabellas, Manchego and Roasted Peppers; Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Caramelized Brussels Sprouts and Butternut Squash; Chocolate-Macadamia Nut Torte.

Registrations are made on first-come, first-served basis. Some classes will not be available for online registration. Registrations must be canceled 72 hours in advance for a refund. Publix Aprons reserves the right to cancel classes not meeting enrollment standards, to change recipes, or to substitute instructors.
