Sleep in Style

Pet beds are easy to make. You can create one using items lying around your home.

Fun Feline Furnishings

Cats get bored easily. Instead of dangling another string, add some excitement to your cat’s life with these home additions:

  • Cat condos: Sometimes your cat just needs a little time to itself. Cat condos give your cat some much-needed space.
  • Cat houses: If you want to keep your outdoor cat safe from the elements, the cat housing market is looking good.
  • Cat perches: Cats love to climb. Perches make a good lookout point for curious cats.
  • Cat beds: Cats can sleep anywhere. But, if your lap isn’t available, a comfortable bed can be good for its well-being.
  • Scratching posts: Cats love to scratch. A good scratching post is cheaper than a new sofa. They’re also easy to make.

Let Sleeping Dogs Sleep

Most dogs can sleep for 12 hours a day. Some breeds can snooze up to 18 hours a day. Since your dog spends so much time in dreamland, make sure it sleeps on the right bed.

  • Bolster bed: Dogs who scare easily may feel safer in this higher-backed bed.
  • Orthopedic mattress bed: For older dogs who, like older people, may need a little more support.
  • Pillow bed: Great for smaller dogs. And, it’s easy to clean. Just throw it in the wash.
  • Cot-style bed: Keeps outdoor dogs cool in the summer and off the cold floor in the winter.
