With a variety of dry-cured meats available from your Publix Deli, you’re sure to find just what you need for any occasion, from a casual snack to an hors d’oeuvre for holiday entertaining. They pair well with olives or cheeses, and can be used as ingredients. Try this easy, delicious recipe from Publix Aprons Simple Meals.

Servings: 12

12 fresh basil leaves
4 tablespoons sun-dried tomato pesto
12 taco-size flour tortillas
12 Deli Italian meat-wrapped cheese sticks (salami, pepperoni, or prosciutto)
Olive oil cooking spray


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove basil leaves from stems. Spread 1 teaspoon pesto evenly over each tortilla. Place 1 meat/cheese stick and 1 basil leaf at edge of each tortilla; roll up tightly and secure with a toothpick. Place rolls on baking sheet and coat with spray.
  2. Bake paninos 10–12 minutes or until crispy and brown. Remove toothpicks and serve.
