Not preserved - Keep refrigerated below 40 degrees F at all times. Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Place separated bacon slices in a cold skillet; do not overcrowd. Cook slowly over medium heat, 5-6 minutes or until brown and crisp. Turn occasionally; drain on paper towels. Microwave: Place separated bacon slices between double layers of paper towels on microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes per slice or until crisp. Caution: Plate may be hot. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place separated bacon slices on wire racks in baking pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until crisp. No turning necessary. Broil: Place separated bacon slices on wire rack in baking pan 3-4 inches from heat source. Broil 2-3 minutes on each side or until crisp. For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliances may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly.
