Dairy-Free Chocolate Pudding

Dairy-Free Chocolate Pudding

2 ripe bananas
1/2 ripe Hass avocado
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whipped topping, optional
Cookies or candy-covered pretzels, optional


  1. Remove peel from bananas and avocado; place both in food processor bowl. Add milk, cocoa, syrup, and vanilla; blend until smooth. Transfer mixture into 4 serving bowls and cover; chill 30 minutes (or overnight).
  2. Top each pudding with 1/4 cup whipped topping. Serve with cookies or pretzels, for dipping, if desired.
