Publix Super Markets, Inc., and its affiliates (collectively “Publix”) make the Publix Aprons® Cooking School portion of publix.com (“Cooking School”) available to you, subject to the following Terms and Conditions. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING COOKING SCHOOL. By using Cooking School, you agree that these Terms and Conditions create a legally binding agreement between you and Publix. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not use Cooking School. These Terms and Conditions are effective unless and until terminated by Publix.
Publix reserves the right, at any time, to modify, amend, alter, or update these Terms and Conditions. By continuing to use Cooking School following such modifications, amendments, alterations, or updates, you agree to be bound by such modifications, amendments, alterations, or updates. Therefore, you should periodically visit this page to review our most current Terms and Conditions.
As a condition of participating in Cooking School classes, and to protect the health and safety of our guests and others, our guests are required to agree to the following conditions: Each guest must agree that he/she will (a) follow all rules of conduct related to the use of the Cooking School facilities during his/her class(es); (b) not attend his or her Cooking School class(es) if he/she has, or has been exposed to, any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc.; (c) release Publix from all claims, damages, and causes of action or liabilities that may arise as a result of participation in a Cooking School class, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Publix.
Class Reservation and Attendance
Full payment for all classes is required at registration. Payment may be made online or by phone using a valid Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover card. Payment by cash or check may be submitted at the Catering desk in the store where the class will be held. All billing and registration information provided by you to Cooking School must be truthful and accurate.
Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours in advance of the class for a refund or to apply balance to an alternative class. Price includes recipes, demonstration, and samples of the food prepared. Wine to complement the menu is provided with most evening classes. Customers with paid registration only may participate in classes. Please make childcare arrangements prior to the start of class. Publix reserves the right to cancel classes not meeting enrollment standards, to change recipes, or to substitute instructors. Please note that there may be certain class registrations that we are unable to accept and must cancel. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any class registration for any reason.
In compliance with the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004, please note that the Cooking School facilities may contain milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soy, which account for most known allergens. Be aware that cross contact may occur among food products and take appropriate safety measures.
