Gluten-free products for the family
At Publix, we understand people's needs vary when it comes to nutrition. That's why we offer a wide variety of products including more than 1,500 gluten-free products. For people with Celiac Disease (CD), this is important since products that contain gluten can harm them. Gluten is the name used for the protein in grains, such as wheat, barley, rye, spelt, kamut and triticale, that causes damage to the small intestine of those with CD. It's no wonder those with CD or family members of those with CD do all they can to make sure their food contains no gluten.
Publix makes it easy for those with CD to find gluten-free products in our stores. You can find any of your favorite name brand goods, and soon our Publix brand gluten-free products, by looking for the gluten-free icons on shelf tags. Brochures located in the information center inside every Publix contain additional nutritional information on a gluten-free diet.
