Q: Where can I purchase Publix gift cards?
A: Publix gift cards can be found near the checkout lanes or in the greeting card section at any of our stores. For a large number of cards or for business purchases, you may order the gift cards through www.publix.com/gift or by phone by calling 1-800-830-8159. 

Q: How can I purchase a large number of Publix gift cards?
A: Though customers may purchase any number of gift cards in our stores, we ask that purchases of 10 or more gift cards be done at the customer service counter rather than at a register. Because of the time it takes to activate cards, customers wanting to purchase more than 30 cards may find it more convenient and easier to place their order online at www.publix.com/gift or order by phone by calling 1-800-830-8159.

Q: Can I receive a discount on large orders?
A: Purchases over $3,000 may qualify for our tiered discount program when you buy Publix gift cards online* or by phone at 1-800-830-8159.
*Orders $5,000 or greater are available by phone only. 

Q: Can I purchase Publix gift cards at other retailers?
A: No. Publix Gift cards are only available for purchase at Publix locations, online at www.publix.com/gift or by phone by calling 1-800-830-8159.

Q: What denominations are available?
A: Publix gift cards can be purchased for any amount between $5 and $500.

Q: Will service fees be deducted from my Publix gift card?
A: Publix does not charge any fees on gift cards. Your entire unused balance will remain on the Card.

Q: Does my Publix gift card have an expiration date?
A: Publix gift cards do not expire.

Q: How can I check the balance of my Publix gift card?
A: The balance will be printed on your receipt each time you use your Publix gift card. If you no longer have your receipt, you may also check your balance at customer service in the store.

Q: Can I add value to a Publix gift card?
A: Yes. The balance of a Publix gift card can be increased when presented at any register in our stores. The new balance cannot exceed the $500 limit. Corporate customers may also add value by calling 1-800-830-8159.

A: Yes. The balance of a Publix gift card can be increased when presented at any register in our stores. The new balance cannot exceed the $500 limit.  Corporate Customers may also add value by calling 1-800-830-8159.

Q: Can I receive cash back for my gift card?
A: You cannot receive cash back for your gift card. It can only be used to purchase merchandise at Publix.

Q: Can I restrict the types of items someone can purchase?
A: For orders placed online or by phone, cards can be labeled with restrictions for no alcohol, tobacco, or lottery. 

Q: What happens if I lose my Publix gift card?
A: The Publix gift card cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

Q: Can I return a Publix gift card?
A: Publix gift cards cannot be returned. However, they can be used to purchase any merchandise within the store.

Q: My gift card does not seem to be working.
A: Please talk with an associate at the customer service desk if your card is not working. If the issue cannot be resolved in the store, please call 1-877-773-7865 for cards purchased in the store or 1-800-830-8159 for cards purchased either through the corporate office or Publix.com.

Q: The online order form will not process my order.  What should I do?
A: If you are having problems with the online order form, please confirm you are entering all information correctly and using a valid credit card.  If instructed to contact your bank, please call the customer service number on the back of your credit card.  For all other issues, you may contact the Publix gift card team by either using the Gift Card Inquiry form or calling 1-800-830-8159 for assistance.

Q: How can I check the status of an order placed online?
A: You may use the Gift Card Inquiry form to send a message to the Publix gift card team to check the status of your order.  You may also call 1-800-830-8159.  Please allow 2-5 business days for shipping, once the order has been received. 

Q: How can I cancel an order made online?
A:  Call 1-800-830-8159 to cancel an order.   Orders cannot be cancelled after the order has been shipped. 

Q: It has been more than 5 days and I have not received my gift cards that I ordered online.  What should I do?
