-- Prepare potatoes through step 1; prepare shrimp through step 2 - 5 minutes


-- Begin spinach and continue shrimp - 5 minutes


-- Complete potatoes, spinach, and shrimp; serve - 10 minutes


Cooking Instructions

Shrimp Newburg

Ingredients

1 tablespoon garlic butter

2 teaspoons country Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons flour

1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning

1 pound peeled/deveined shrimp (thawed, if needed)

1/4 cup cream sherry

1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of shrimp soup

1/2 cup reduced-fat milk

Steps

1. Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2-3 minutes.

2. Place garlic butter in saucepan; swirl to coat. Stir in mustard, flour, and seasoning. Cook 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, or until well blended and bubbling.

3. Stir in (in this order) shrimp, sherry, soup, and milk. Reduce heat to medium; cook 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until shrimp are opaque and sauce thickens. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Duchess Potatoes

Ingredients

24 ounces refrigerated mashed potatoes

1 tablespoon garlic butter

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Steps

1. Place potatoes in microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on HIGH 4 minutes or until potatoes begin to get hot.

2. Stir in butter and cheese; microwave on HIGH 3 more minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir and serve.

Sautéed Spinach

Ingredients

1 tablespoon garlic butter

10 ounces fresh spinach

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps

1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2-3 minutes.

2. Place garlic butter in pan; swirl to coat. Add spinach, salt, and pepper. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until spinach wilts. Serve.
