Philly Beef and Cheese Dip

Ingredients

12 oz presliced roast beef, finely chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup fresh prediced yellow onions
1/2 cup fresh prediced bell peppers
1 (4-oz) can diced green chiles (undrained)
1/4 cup whole milk
16 oz bar white pasteurized cheese product
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Crusty bread, crackers, or chips (optional for dipping)

Steps

  1. Preheat large, nonstick saucepan 2–3 minutes on medium-high. Chop beef. Pour oil in pan, then and add onions and peppers; cook and stir 3–4 minutes or until tender. Stir in beef and chiles; cook 1 minute or until hot. Remove mixture from pan.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. Combine milk, cheese, and pepper in same pan; cook 4–5 minutes, stirring often, or until mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in beef mixture; cook 3–4 minutes or until hot. Serve with toasted bread, crackers, or chips for dipping if desired.
