Ingredients

1 cup fresh mixed berries
3 tablespoons almond butter
3 tablespoons maple syrup
Zip-top bag
1/4 cup chocolate granola clusters, crushed
8 round toaster waffles

Steps

  1. Place berries, almond butter, and syrup in microwave-safe bowl; cover and microwave on HIGH for 1–1 1/2 minutes, or until berries are soft and warm. Mash berries with whisk (or fork) and stir until blended; chill 1 hour. Place granola in zip-top bag; crush into small pieces.
  2. Toast waffles following package instructions. Spread berry mixture on one side of 4 waffles; top each with granola and another waffle, to make 4 sandwiches. Serve warm or chilled.
