Berry Bourbon Smash

Berry Bourbon Smash
Total Time:
10 minutes


2 strawberries
4 blueberries
4 basil leaves
2 oz bourbon
2 oz lemon-lime soda
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz agave
Lemon slice, for garnish


  1. Muddle strawberries, blueberries, and basil in cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice and remaining ingredients (except garnish). Shake well; strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
  3. Garnish with a lemon slice.

Other Preparation Methods

Make it more elegant.
Substitute raspberries for the strawberries, and use your favorite berry-flavored soda water (instead of club soda) to enhance the flavor.

Make it traditional.
Muddle 3 lemon wedges, 8 mint leaves, and simple syrup until lemons are broken down. Top with bourbon and ice; stir to chill and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
