These managers are responsible for recommending new store locations through leased locations and or self-development. An established developer who plans to construct a prototypical store in accordance with Publix site development criteria can submit potential sites.

Publix Super Markets has made a significant investment in Crispers, a "quick serve" restaurant concept specializing in gourmet-style salads, sandwiches, soups and other related items. Crispers currently has over 40 units open in the Florida Market.
