When to enjoy.

Southern seedless watermelons are at peak season from the end of May into July, making them the quintessential summertime treat. We work directly with farmers throughout the South to ensure each melon meets our high standards, so you can enjoy every juicy bite.

Recipes.

Tips.

  • Keep whole melons in the refrigerator no longer than one week. Once cut, refrigerate covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container.
  • Wash the surface of your watermelon before cutting.
  • Need to figure out how much to buy? Count on 1 1/2–2 cups cubed melon per pound.
  • If you’re doing some creative carving, a room-temperature watermelon is easier to work with.
