Lighting: Arrange briquets in a pile on the center of the grill. Open cap by prying where indicated. Apply charcoal lighter over the briquets. Use 1.6 fl oz (47 ml) per pound of briquets. Close cap by pressing firmly until it snaps and locks. Light the charcoal immediately. When briquets are covered with gray ash, spread evenly with grill utensils and begin barbecuing.
