Halloween  Back to Events

This Halloween, invite kids and adults to a monster bash. Welcome guests into your haunted house decorated with fake spiderwebs, plastic spiders, black lights, dripping candles and witches’ hats. Turn up the music and let guests groove to Halloween hits such as “Thriller,” “Monster Mash” and “Ghostbusters.”

No Halloween party is complete without carving pumpkins. Check out our instructions for How to Carve a Pumpkin, then have guests assist youngsters with their creations. For a twist on traditional pumpkin carving, set out a selection of small pumpkins and gourds along with craft supplies such as paint, glue, pipe cleaners and pom-poms. Let guests make their own Halloween-inspired decorations. Craft a few sample decorations before the party to inspire your guests.

Serve up yummy delectables that treat—not trick—guests’ taste buds. For a tasty take-home snack that resembles a witch or monster hand, stuff candy corn (for witches) or gumdrops (for monsters) into the fingers of clean latex gloves and fill the rest of the gloves with popcorn, pretzels or other nibbles. Tie the ends of the gloves with orange and black ribbon. Give your food creative, Halloween-inspired names.
