Surprise Dad with a meal made especially for him. Round up the kids to create a customized table setting and wow him with presents that reflect his favorite things.
Create a keepsake you can use year after year. Purchase a plain white tablecloth and have everyone write why they love Dad on it with color markers. Set old newspaper or cardboard under it to protect the table. Or create decorative chargers that feature the kids' artwork. Scan the art and print it on water-transfer paper (found at crafts stores). Trim closely around the image and place the paper in water until the decal slips easily from the backing. Place the decal on the charger and smooth out any bubbles. When dry, seal the decal with a spray varnish.
Make Dad feel more special by giving him great gifts that reflect his interests. Or have kids create fun bookmarks and present them with a book they can read together.
