Chances are, your child's birthday stirs up excitement months in advance. Here's how to create a party that surpasses those expectations'with minimum stress for you.

Children make great party planners. After all, they know whether their group of friends prefers Harry Potter to the Transformers. From there, work together to select kid-friendly decorations and treats that'll have guests talking for weeks afterward. Look for a variety of kids' birthday party essentials at your neighborhood Publix.

A little creativity ensures that you're throwing an awesome'not average'party. One way to do this is by serving foods with special names that relate to the theme. For example, the name 'Royal Punch' makes plain fruit juice much more fun to sip at a 
princess party.
