You already know that you can count on your Publix Pharmacy when you're not feeling well. But did you know that we can help prevent you from getting sick too? Our comprehensive immunization program is designed to help ward off disease and keep you healthy.

 
Flu Shot

Flu Vaccines
Seasonal Flu Vaccine - It's not too late to receive your seasonal flu vaccine. Outbreaks usually peak in February. The cost is $25; however, Medicare Part B is accepted with no copay*.  Contact your local Publix pharmacy to confirm vaccine and pharmacist availability.

H1N1 Flu Vaccine - For a limited time, the cost is $10 and you will receive a coupon for a $10 Publix gift card with any new or transferred prescription. Medicare Part B is accepted with no copay*.  Contact your local Publix pharmacy to confirm vaccine and pharmacist availability.

*Restrictions apply to some Medicare HMOs.

Other Vaccines
In addition to flu vaccines, select Publix pharmacies offer other vaccines year-round. It's important to remember that some of these vaccines will require a prescription from your doctor and may or may not be covered by your Prescription Insurance Plan. If you have questions or want more information, contact your Publix pharmacist.

Some of the vaccines that your Publix Pharmacy can provide include:

AL, FL, GA, SC, TN Influenza* Yearly vaccine for everyone 50 years of age and older and individuals with certain chronic illnesses or anyone at risk for the flu $25
AL, GA, SC, TN Pneumonia (pneumococcal)* Everyone over 65 years old and those 19-64 who smoke or have asthma $45
AL, GA, SC, TN Tetanus / Diphtheria
Tetanus / Diphtheria / Pertussis
Adults should receive a booster every 10 years $35 / $70
AL, GA, SC, TN Shingles (varicella) Everyone 60 years of age and older $195
AL, GA, SC, TN Hepatitis B Individuals at risk for the disease or exposure to blood or blood products $75
AL, GA, SC, TN Meningitis (meningococcal) College students living in a dorm $125

* Medicare Part B accepted with no copay
