Program

Q: Who is eligible to be a member of the Publix Preschool Pals?
A: Parents with children ages two, three or four years old who live in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama or Tennessee can register online for this club.

Q: What's included with our Publix Preschool Pals membership?
A: A slew of stuff. Your child gets a birthday card every year. A periodic Publix Preschool Pals newsletter with valuable information geared specifically towards parents of preschool-aged children, not to mention great prizes for your child. And when your child turns three, you get a Publix Preschool Pals CD ROM, complete with fun and educational games that'll teach your children proper nutrition, safety, family values and much more.

Q: When does my Publix Preschool Pals membership end?
A: Children graduate from Publix Preschool Pals when they turn five years old.

Q: How can I sign up to receive the Publix Preschool Pals newsletter and e-mails?
A: Easy. All you have to do is go to the Publix Preschool Pals sign-up page and, well, sign up. You'll automatically receive these publications as a result of becoming a member.
Tip: After signing up, adding preschoolpals@publix.com to your e-mail address book will help ensure that we can continue sending you helpful information through the monthly e-mail (this address is an unmonitored mailbox and cannot handle requests).

Q: I haven't received my Publix Preschool Pals e-mail lately. How can I make sure I receive it each month?
A: It's possible that your e-mail provider, in response to recent anti-SPAM legislation, is mistakenly filtering the e-mail. Unfortunately, this can sometimes affect e-mail that you do want to receive. Adding preschoolpals@publix.com to your e-mail address book and updating your membership profile with current contact information will help ensure that we can continue sending you helpful information through the monthly e-mail (this address is an unmonitored mailbox and cannot handle requests). You may also want to contact your e-mail provider to inform them that Publix Preschool Pals has permission to send you monthly e-mail communications.

Q: If I move out of the Southeast, will I still get Publix Preschool Pals newsletters?
A: They will follow you to the ends of the earth. If your child becomes a member of Publix Preschool Pals while you're living in the Publix trade area, we'll continue to send you correspondence wherever you are until your child turns five.

Web site

Q: Do I have to pay to use the Publix Preschool Pals Web site?
A: Absolutely not. Not one thin dime. Everything on the Publix Preschool Pals Web site is free.

Q: Is the personal information I give you secure?
A: Absolutely. We take great care to ensure that any information you give us is kept secure on the site.

A: No way. We'll use the information you give us only to send you relevant program information.

Q: How do I change my membership information?
A: It's easy. Sign in, then select "Your Membership." You'll be able to update details such as your e-mail address and mailing address.

Q: I saw a checkbox for "Remember me on this computer." What is this?
A: If you would like to go directly to "Member Home" when visiting us in the future on the computer you are currently using, simply check this box the next time you sign in. This way, you won't have to enter your e-mail address and password every time you return. However, if you ever need to update your membership information, you will need to provide your e-mail address and password - just so we can verify your identity and keep your information secure.

Computer Game

Q: The Publix Preschool Pals Computer Game is most effective as a learning tool when used by children in what age range?
A: We recommend using this game with children ages three and older. In our experience, some children who are younger than three may not have developed the dexterity to use a computer yet.

Q: If I have a question about my Publix Preschool Pals Computer Game, how do I go about finding the answer?
A: Check out the READ ME file on your CD ROM or in the folder where you saved the downloaded file. There's tons of great information. But if you don't find the answer there, just click here to contact us.

Q: How do I get to the READ ME file?
A: Open the Publix Preschool Pals folder where you installed the game either from the CD ROM or by downloading from this site. Open the folder and the READ ME file Word document should be right there.

Q: My Publix Preschool Pals CD ROM doesn't work. What should I do?
A: Get in touch with us immediately so we can help you figure out the problem. You can contact us via phone or mail.

Q: My Publix Preschool Pals Computer Game will not install properly from my CD ROM or when I download from this site. What should I do?
A:
Please be sure to follow the instructions on the CD jacket.  If you encounter errors with the installation before it is complete, confirm that you have Administrator’s rights when installing the CD; if not, log in as the computer’s Administrator and install accordingly.  If you still have issues with the CD ROM or the download process, please contact us for more information.
