Building Our Store Management Team

We are committed to offering the freshest products, the most pleasing shopping environment and the best customer service. To ensure that each store lives up to these values, we hire individuals with high standards and then train them in all the little details that lead to this level of excellence.

For this reason, most of our managers are promoted from within our own ranks. That helps us ensure that our standards — particularly in providing premier customer service — are maintained. But our fast growth makes it impossible to mentor our associates quickly enough to fill every management opening. So we do hire some managers from outside the company when necessary, primarily for department manager and assistant department manager positions.

 

Our Immediate Needs

Some of our stores have a critical need for Bakery Managers and Assistant Bakery Managers.  If you have  bakery management experience in a retail environment and want to see if there are openings in your area, please email one of our recruiters.  (See Further Assistance below).

How To Apply

When we do have management opportunities for outside candidates, we post them on hotjobs.com.

We only consider candidates who have worked in a food retail setting (preferably a supermarket) and who have management experience. If you meet both of these criteria, please visit our openings on hotjobs.com and apply online. You must specify which geographic area you prefer.

Your application will be reviewed by one of our Retail Staffing Specialist. If you meet the qualifications for the position you selected, your application will be forwarded to a District Manager for review. You will be called if the District Manager believes your skills and experience match an available management opportunity in the geographic area you chose.

If you don't find openings that match your experience, contact the Retail Staffing Specialist in the region where you want to work.
