Bring your strong work ethic to our Distribution team, which is looking for both part-time and fulltime Selectors.
There is NO limit to how much you can earn as a Selector because your weekly pay depends on how efficient you are in selecting product for our stores! You set your own pace. The size of your paycheck depends on the pace you set the previous week. OpportunitiesWe frequently have part-time and full-time openings for Selector in our warehouses, which are located in Florida (Boynton Beach, Davenport, Deerfield Beach, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Miami, Orlando and Sarasota) and Georgia (Austell and Lawrenceville). Starting pay is $11.64 to $12.44 per hour, depending on location, but within weeks, you can be earning much more. Some Selectors earn more than $19.00 per hour! Once you've been trained, you can earn $14.55 an hour for meeting the base efficiency standard, $16.01 an hour for achieving 10% above that standard, $16.73 an hour for achieving 15% above that standard. We offer a flexible environment. You have the freedom to work hard and earn a large paycheck one week or work at a more relaxed pace when you don't mind earning less another week. It's totally up to you. You receive a year-end bonus as long as you are at Publix on December 31. Plus, you receive free hot lunches (buffet-style) on the days that you work. This position leads to many other positions at Publix if you do well. ContributionsOur Selectors are responsible for pulling products ordered by stores from Distribution Center shelves and placing them onto pallets. Selectors also wrap finished orders and deliver them to the dock area. They do this with the use of a motorized pallet jack. Our Selectors also use state-of-the-art technology to increase their efficiency. Headsets tell Selectors which products have been ordered, and where they are located in the Distribution Center. Without our Selectors, Distribution couldn't keep the shelves stocked at our more than 1,000 stores. QualificationsRequired qualifications for Selectors include the following:
