Geoff Hess, Pairing Experts
Geoffrey Hess is responsible for Chains and Grains at Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont Colorado. Working closely with their national chain accounts and running the Hops and Heifers brewery owned Farm.
Growing up on their 200 acre farm in Amherst Massachusetts, his father a veterinarian and mother was a flight attendant. This combination provided a unique perspective of agricultural business and opportunity to travel the world. After graduating with Associates in Agricultural Engineering from The State University of New York Cobleskill, he went on to study Plant Science at Cornell University. Graduating from Cornell he started a 19 year sales career with Monrovia Growers, a world leader in nursery plant production.
An interest in alternative agriculture drew him to Colorado State University where he completed his Masters Degree in Integrated Resource Management. During his studies at Colorado State he concentrated on sustainable business operations in the craft brewing industry.
