Born in Mexico, Chef Wendy Lopez moved to the United States at the age of 6. She quickly fell in love with Italian food...“There’s something about the smell of a fresh tomato sauce simmering on the stove and the tang of Balsamic Vinegar.” A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, Wendy Lopez has competed in several culinary competitions receiving 3 gold medals and 3 silver medals. She is excited to introduce her students to some delicious Italian dishes that can be used for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. "With the help of fresh produce and fine products there is no room for error."
