Michel Revy



Michel Revy was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, there he grew up in a diverse world of culinary influences due to his Brazilian, European and Middle Eastern background. He moved to the US when he was 13 years old. Michel's first culinary job was with Outback Steakhouse where he was a Kitchen Manager. Later on, he became Corporate Chef, went to culinary school in Brazil and had his apprenticeship in Italy and Spain. After obtaining a culinary degree, he worked for various restaurants across the country, including two years with Claude Troisgros, whose father was one of the inventors of nouvelle cuisine and had a three Michelin star restaurant. After a one year contract with Celebrity Cruise Lines, he came back to the US and worked as a chef in various restaurants and hotels in Tampa. Michel really enjoys teaching the history of cooking, cultures, and traditions of each cuisine.
