Send your teen to come learn some “classic” menu items that will prepare them to be able to impress you and your friends. They will learn classic dishes served at different times of the day.
They will leave the class understanding the importance of learning how to cook, we’ll take them through safety, sanitation, knife skills, and basic techniques needed to survive in the kitchen. This 3-day camp is for teens ages 13-18. Each class will last approximately 2-2 1/2 hours.
Day 1 - Breakfast: Huevos Rancheros Frittata; Corn Beef and Chorizo Hash; Quick Eggs Benedict; Homemade Pancakes with Strawberry Jam. Day 2 - Lunch: Ham and Brie Panini; Roasted Pepper Tomato Bisque; German Potato Salad ; Mixed Green Salad with Dijon Vinaigrette. Day 3 - Dinner: Homemade Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce; Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Peas; Fish and Chips; Homemade Apple Pie and Vanilla Thyme Ice Cream.
Registrations are made on first-come, first-served basis. Some classes will not be available for online registration. Registrations must be canceled 72 hours in advance for a refund. Publix Aprons reserves the right to cancel classes not meeting enrollment standards, to change recipes, or to substitute instructors.
