Orange-Glazed Ham

Our fresh, never frozen Publix Premium Semi-Boneless Ham is prepared with our special recipe, cooked to perfection in our smokehouses, and perfectly trimmed with center slices intact. All you have to do is heat and serve. Or try this delicious Orange-Glazed Ham recipe.

Orange-Glazed Ham

Orange-Glazed Ham

6 1/2 lb semi-boneless ham
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 (6-oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

  1. Preheat oven to 325F. Line roasting pan with foil; place ham in pan, flat side down.
  2. Whisk remaining ingredients until blended; pour mixture over ham. Cover ham with foil, sealing tightly around edges of baking pan. Bake about 2 hours (figure 20 minutes per pound) or until internal temperature at center of ham is 140F.
  3. Increase oven temperature to 450F. Remove foil from ham; bake 10 minutes, basting occasionally, until glaze caramelizes.

Other Preparation Methods

Leftovers: Combine in large stock pot: 2 (16-oz) cans navy beans, 3 cups cooked ham chunks, 1 cup chopped onions, 1/2 cup chopped celery, 1/2 cup chopped carrots, and 2 cups chicken broth. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve with cornbread.
