Grilled Teriyaki Chuck Steak

1 cup teriyaki marinade
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 1/2-2 lb chuck steak (1-inch-thick)

  1. Combine marinade and garlic in zip-top bag. Add steak to bag; marinate 30 minutes (or overnight).
  2. Preheat grill. Grill over direct heat 6-8 minutes on each side or until beef is 145F. Let stand 5 minutes to rest before slicing.

Other Preparation Methods

Broil: Preheat oven to broil. Season 1 1/2-2 lb chuck steak (1-inch-thick) with 1 tablespoon blackened steak seasoning. Place steak on foil-lined baking sheet and broil 8-10 minutes or until beef is 145F. Let stand 5 minutes to rest. For extra tenderness, marinate at least 30 minutes in a prepared marinade before cooking.
