Grilled Pork Chops

Pork chops include loin chops, rib chops, and sirloin chops, bone-in or boneless. Cooking them on the grill really brings out their great flavor. The length of cooking time primarily depends on the thickness of the chop.

1 1/2 lb pork chops (about 1/2-inch thick)
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
1 cup light beer

  1. Place all ingredients in large zip-top; marinate 30 minutes (or overnight).
  2. Preheat grill. Place pork chops on grill over direct heat; grill 4-6 minutes on each side or until pork is 145F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Other Preparation Methods

Pan Fry: Place 1/4 cup flour, 1 tablespoon seasoned salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in zip-top bag. Add 1 1/2 lb pork chops and shake to coat. Preheat 2 tablespoons canola oil in a large saut pan. Place pork chops in pan; cook 5-6 minutes on each side or until pork is 145F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Bake: Preheat oven to 400F. Season 1 1/2 lb pork chops with 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Place on foil-lined baking sheet; bake 12-14 minutes or until pork is 145F. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
