Florida strawberries are best February through March. Sweet, juicy, and delicious, they're also a good source of vitamin C. Pick bright red, fragrant berries and eat as soon as possible, washing them just before eating.

Mini Chocolate Strawberry Croissants

Ingredients
8 Publix Bakery mini croissants
1 (3.5-oz) bar dark chocolate, 70% cacao
16 oz fresh strawberries, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon honey
1 (5.3-oz) cup fat-free Greek yogurt with honey

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Slice croissants in half horizontally. Break chocolate into 1-inch squares, placing one square inside each croissant. Top with strawberry slices and close croissant; drizzle with honey and place on baking sheet.
  2. Bake 8-10 minutes or until chocolate melts. Top with yogurt and serve warm.

Other Preparation Methods

Dessert: Preheat oven to 375F. Coat 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. Prepare boxed sugar cookie mix (15-17 oz) following package instructions. Press dough into pan. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges brown and center is set. Let stand to cool completely. Combine 1/4 cup strawberry jam with 16 oz prepared white frosting; spread over crust. Arrange 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries over top.
